The brace slightly lifts the nail rim, alleviating pressure on the surrounding tissue. Different devices can be used, depending on the individual case and medical requirements.

Which brace for which case?
Depending on the diagnosis, the appropriate nail correction brace is selected by the therapist. The podofix and PODOSTRIPE adhesive braces made of plastic are particularly suitable for thinner nails and lighter cases of ingrown nails.
The 3TO brace (wire brace) and the combined wire adhesive brace COMBIped are on both sides or on one side under the edge of the nail and therefore have a somewhat stronger effect. From slightly deformed nails, painful ingrown nails to strong curling nails - almost all cases can be brought back into shape with these braces. A special training is recommended for the 3TO brace, all other types of braces can also be used without a course.
